The St. Joseph Softball Board, which was established in the early 1980’s, is a non-profit group designed to better the sport of Softball in St. Joseph. Along with the promotion of softball, this volunteer-based organization actively participates in many events/tournaments each year.

In addition to the sponsorship of several tournaments each year, the Softball Board provides funding for various softball related projects. This board participates in both the youth and adult programs, including assistance with league issues and policies. The progressive and proactive effort of the Softball Board, in cooperation with the St. Joseph Convention & Visitors Bureau and the City of St. Joseph has landed many prestigious tournaments.
